Benoit Sabourin

Benoit is a seasoned nonprofit leader with a proven track record in leading successful fundraising operations across various sectors and designing and executing large philanthropic campaigns. Prior to arriving at Giving Kitchen, Benoit worked in consulting at CCS Fundraising, Inc. where he spearheaded multiple high-impact initiatives, including the $20 million “A Healthier Tomorrow” campaign for Baptist Health Sciences University.

His portfolio of clients also included prominent organizations such as the Catholic Diocese of Toledo, where he helped exceed a $65 million campaign goal by nearly $40 million, raising a total of $103 million to support parish development, clergy education, and community outreach.

Benoit’s expertise lies in major gift fundraising, strategic planning, and leadership development. During his time in Toledo, he personally managed 20 parish campaigns, working closely with pastors and volunteer leaders to raise over $12 million across the parishes. His collaborative approach empowered over 150 volunteers to become skilled fundraisers, many of whom had no prior experience, contributing to the campaign’s success.

Prior to joining CCS, Benoit served as Director of Development at Georgia State University’s College of the Arts, where he led fundraising efforts that resulted in over $8 million raised for scholarships, faculty initiatives, and capital projects. His ability to manage complex campaigns, build relationships, and mentor teams has been integral to his success in various roles.
