Jamie Gray Hyder is a classically trained, Lebanese-American\u202factor and UGA alum, most well known for her role as Officer Katriona\u202f’Kat’ Tamin on Law & Order: SVU. Over the last 15 years, her work on iconic TV shows, in cult-classic video games and as crowd-favorite animated characters has rounded out her unique\u202fprofessional experience.<\/p>\n

As a lover of all things food & drink related, when Jamie isn\u2019t on set, you can find her chowing down or working in professional kitchens honing\u202fher knife skills as a prep cook. Over the last couple years, Jamie is thrilled to grow from Team Hidi attendee to Board Member at Giving Kitchen, as it affords her a way to give back to the many restaurant and bar workers who have given her a home over the years. Her goals include bringing national partnerships and attention to GK that allow us to meet the ever-growing needs of our food service population, nationwide.<\/p>\n

In her free time, Jamie also uses her platform to support mental health initiatives, veterans\u202fand the armed forces, and food support programs such as World Central Kitchen.
