March 2023

March was a month of reflection, but also a month of action.

Because of your support at events like Team Hidi, Giving Kitchen has helped over 12,333 food service workers and awarded over $8.3 million in financial assistance to help keep the lights on, the water running, and a roof overhead for food service workers in crisis.

Let's reflect on March:

  • 670 food service workers submitted an Ask For Help form coming from 22 states

  •  $224,308 awarded to food service workers in crisis

  •  39 children and 28 additional household members in the homes of financial assistance recipients

  • 1200+ Team Hidi 2023 guests and volunteers supporting our mission

Thank you to our food service community that meets crisis with compassion and care, and thank you to food service workers who have the courage to ask for help!
