Over $8 million in financial assistance awarded to 12,000 clients — and counting!
As of last month, GK surpassed providing over $8 million and has served over 12,000 food service workers in crisis since inception. Thanks to YOU, our food service community, we have the opportunity to serve food service workers in crisis with both financial assistance and Stability Network referrals and continue to provide hope every day.
Key February highlights:
567 food service workers submitted an Ask For Help form coming from 25 states.
Nearly $300K awarded to food service workers in crisis — The equivalent of more than 6 months worth of rent assistance every day for the entire month.
114 children and 60 additional household members in the homes of financial assistance recipients were impacted.
GK’s Upcoming Events
Join us at Team Hidi for food, drinks, music, and celebration in support of our mission to help food service workers in crisis. Local chefs and bartenders bring their best sips and bites so you can eat well while doing good!
Spread across four venues at Lee + White in Atlanta, Team Hidi 2023 will be a night to remember. The party is happening at ASW Whiskey Exchange, Boxcar at Hop City, Monday Night Garage, and Wild Heaven Beer West End.
